Incredible Road of ICT in Senior High
Information, communication, and technology (ICT) play a more extensive and essential role in our lives than most people realize. From simple tasks to complex endeavors, ICT permeates all aspects of our occupations, social interactions, and especially education. It is taught and learned by students from an early age, starting in elementary school and continuing throughout college. As a student specializing in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), I have experienced firsthand how ICT can significantly enhance and streamline our studies.
ICT is a crucial tool for students. As learners, it is essential for us to seek knowledge, especially in areas we have yet to explore. Having access to ICT, particularly as STEM students, makes it easier to find the information we need, particularly in our specialized subjects. Whether it's deciphering complex formulas, understanding intricate vocabulary, or exploring general topics, ICT makes the learning process more manageable and efficient. Furthermore, when working on group projects or collaborative assignments, online communication through ICT platforms proves more convenient, cost-effective, and time-saving. As STEM students, our research endeavors are expected to align with our specific field of study. With the aid of ICT, achieving our desired research outcomes becomes more attainable, eliminating unnecessary stress. Accessing relevant literature and studies becomes easier, and overcoming challenging aspects of our research becomes more manageable.
However, it is important to note that ICT isn't only beneficial for STEM students but for students of all ages and disciplines. ICT serves as a reliable vehicle that takes students on a smooth journey through their educational pursuits. Although there may be occasional obstacles along the way, with the steady ride provided by ICT, our learning experiences become more seamless and unhindered.
